The SSC Ultimate Aero is manufactured by Shelby Super Cars. This newcomer manufacturer produced car helps briefly the title of the fastest car in 2007 by beating Veyron none super sports version. It has a top speed of 256 mph. Under the hood, the car has a dual turbocharged V8 engine that produces 1287hp power. It doesn’t have any electronic technology that aids the driver, making it fear of driving talent to drive this vehicle.
5. Veyron Super Sport by Bugatti
The Bugatti Automobile was purchased by Volkswagen with an intention of creating the fastest car in the world. They succeeded with Bugatti Veyron that has a 1000 hp quad-turbocharged W16 engine. After its loss to SSC Ultimate Aero, the Bugatti Veyron was upgraded to Bugatti Veyron Super Sport with a power of 1200hp. This Veyron Super Sport is capable of a top speed of 268 mph. This performance led to it being recognized by the Guinness Book of World records as the second fastest car in the world at that time.

It has clocked a speed of 261mph under legal settings. Its engine produces a power of 1500hp with its top speed on the race track still under wraps. The Chiron is a marvel of engineering that doesn’t need a professional driver. It can adjust its machinery according to the speed, thereby allowing it to be driven by anyone with driving knowledge. The Bugatti Chiron not only has the speed but a treasure trove of luxury for its owner. Only 500 units are planned to be released for sale making it a rare luxury to own them.

The Venom GT by Hennessey can clock a top speed of 270.4mph. This hand-built beauty was not recognized as the fastest car by the Guinness Book of world records.

The Koenigsegg Agera RS is considered as the world’s fastest car by the Guinness Book of World Records. It was awarded this title during its 11 miles run between Pahrump and Las Vegas. The Koenigsegg Agera RS with its 1160 hp clocked 284.55 in the first run and 271.19mph in the second. With an average recorded speed of 277.9mph, it became the official fastest car in the world.
